Bilingual speech-language pathologist, Houston native, and firm believer that families belong on the care team.
Hi! My name is Yesenia. I'm a bilingual speech-language pathologist and I've been in the field for 7 years. I've worked with both pediatric and adult/geriatric populations, across a range of settings including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and private practice.
I earned my undergraduate degree at the University of North Texas and completed my graduate training at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. Today I see clients throughout Katy and greater Houston, with telehealth available anywhere in Texas.
When working with patients and families, it's important to me that we meet the patient and family where they are. I want to make sure the patient and family feel comfortable with me, and that we're working as a team toward the goals that matter most to them.
Outside of work
Trying out new coffee shops and running. Fun fact: She got to meet Chuck Norris while doing karate in middle school. Originally from Houston, TX, she now calls Katy, TX home.
